my wife and kids away so I've got more time to dash off some clips. Here's a version of the old standard "autumn leaves" done first "chord melody" style then comping with an overdubbed solo and a drum track It's all on my Afterburner V with Smith compressors, into an Avalon U5 and then a Mackie Satellite There's some compression and verb, but otherwise it's straight into the board. Chords on the neck pickup, solo on the bridge [url:wmrtjy3j]http://chnm.gmu.edu/courses/magic/leafs.mp4[/url:wmrtjy3j] It ends abruptly for reasons of technical screw up

It's so clear and crisp it almost sounds like a guitar. Very nice chord work!

Thanks everyone! I'm usually a very "basic" bass player, but every now and then it's fun to use all those high frets the bass came with.
