I've tried to find anything about this, throughout the forum but haven't found it on regular or advance search, so please bear with me if this has been brought up before:
Q: Are the cores of the Dingwall strings also THICKER in gauge as you go down in gauge, or is it just the wrap and wound around them that is of thicker gauge?
Like, if you could have "open core" strings at the ball end, is the open core the same gauge?
Of course, if the answer is yes, I would love to know why, but if it ain't I understand it.
