We're in the planning stages of the Combustion 4. Now's the time to show your interest and express your wish list. It will be mostly a clone of the 5 of course but nut width, pickups, mix of Maple vs Rosewood, finishes, rotary switch vs vol/vol, etc. are still to be decided. I'm leaning toward a P-tone neck and series bridge pickup combination at the moment. Thanks for your input.

We've not seen enough interest at this point to go forward with the 4. We'll be doing another run of 5's instead. In the meantime we've opened up the options on the ABZ to include a 2-band pre and in the near future a 3-band.

Tbh, I thought that one of the best features about the ABZ, is the fact that it's passive and a great passive bass at that, I do welcome your idea to add a preamp, but I hope that you will continue to offer them in the passive option as you do with the Super J. The ABZ passive sound is transparent, noiseless, powerful and subtle as it is, why jazzin' it up when you got the ABII with the glockie?? :)

A little sad, but nothing an ABZ4 won't cure
