Hi Sheldon. I was sitting around listening to Black Oak Arkansas Raunch & Roll Live and thinking about the closet hooks that my Dingwalls hang from when in their Levys bag. (One has nothing to do with the other, I've just been into BOA lately. I encourage everybody to give it a spin :P )

Anyway, the hooks that attach to the bag end are slowly giving way under the weight and I'm afraid the bags and basses will fall butt-end to the floor someday. (I keep them hanging because they deserve to be above the rest of the basses :) ) Is there a sturdier hook available? It would be more convenient, IMO, to have a larger hook that didn't close on itself like the current ones, maybe one shaped like a large fish hook. A custom Dingwall hook would be the bomb. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

How about a couple of Carabiners? Small for the bag end, large for the closet end/

I hadn't considered that, but I think that may be a good solution. I could just leave the small one attached to the bag. In the mean time, I took off the spring hook and bent out one of the loops on the last chain link to make a small hook, but I'll definitely get the carabiners to have a more secure hanging point and prevent accidental falls. Thanks for the idea.
