We used to melt down Aerowax and pour it into recycled 35 mm film canisters. That stuff was awesome, but I haven't been able to find it in years.

If I remember correctly it seemed a little harder, or maybe drier, like a fat crayon. It ran out long ago so it's hard to say exactly.
