One thing I've wondered about when comparing the weight of all the basses, is when you click on the "more info" about body woods and so on, it always lists one weight, like "swamp ash is the lightest of our basses at 8 lbs". Say, in this case the ABZ. However, while the Combustion may only come as a 5 string, all the other ones can be ordered from anything to 4 string to a 6 string and the weight must change accordingly ne's pas? So what is this "average" weight based upon? I mean it must be different even if the body has the same type of wood, like a 4 string alder body is - of course - lighter than the 6 string with alder body. So I wonder if all average weights are from 5ers?

90% of what we build are 5-strings which skews the average. 4-strings are lighter, 6-strings are of course a little heavier.
