Saw these and it struck me that you usually don't see Afterburner 2's with maple necks.

Of course now that I look in the AB2 gallery I see there are some, but it still struck me odd. The body contrast layer helps.

I think it's actually become the norm. Looking at the spec page. I could be mistaken..... happens a lot. I personally loved my walnut neck on my Ab2. I have a walnut neck on my Z3 and am still in love. If I got another Ab2 it would be walnut or wenge but that's just me.

Just beautiful instruments though. I saw em too. You can instantly tell when an instrument is posted from Japan...... its like $3000 to high. Very rare does a fair priced eBay deal come out of Japan it seems. Maybe I'm not one to talk but geez. I wonder if that black Z3 is still listed. .... I better go check now...... I guess it was only like $2000 to high.
