Hey Sheldon, finally got my used Prima and I love it! I think that makes me the second Dingwall owner in Greece... So, mine is #2056. Could you possibly tell me around when it was built? The second question is this: I recently bought a "Dragonfly", which is a "powerless stethoscope practice amplifier". Basically, it's a stethoscope that sticks to the bass with two suction cups. Problem is, it says in the manual that you must not use it on lacquer finished guitars because the suction cups can leave a small circle mark on the finish. I don't know exactly what finish you use, do you think that might be a problem with the prima as well? Don't want to risk a try... thanks panos

Congratulations D-lord. That bass is from 07/98. I don't have a record of the finish used. It's either tung oil, or if it's glossy, polyurethane.

One more question, what are the Bartolini NTMB mid frequency points?

The bass came to me with a TKL gigbag, which was a bit strange because I'm somewhat used to better quality stuff from Dingwall... Not that it's bad, but it doesn't seem like a gigbag to sell a Prima in. I understand that this bass was made a little after the fire, so you probably didn't have the funds to get better accessories at the time. All I wanted to know if it was indeed sold with a TKL gigbag or if the seller made a mistake.

Even a 2200 Afterburner (let alone a 6000 Prima) looks out of place emerging from a 50 gigbag. These babies deserve better IMO.

We've never dealt with TKL. A Levy's bag would have been sold with that instrument.

I thought that was the case, it's a very cheapo bag to sell a Prima in. Thanks a lot, I just emailed the seller about this.
