Yeah, I had it out playing it Sunday night, my wife looks at me and asks, "why in the world are you selling that bass? You know you'll regret it one day."
Little did she know I was already regretting it. I was actually thinking to go back full circle and buy back my first Dingwall, a 2004 AB1 WPB flame top. It suddenly came available right after I posted the PA for sale, so I was thinking, "hey synchronicity!"

This one started the obsession and the consequent obsolescense of nearly all my parallel fretted basses. I couldn't stop until I had the Prima Artist. And like the dog who chases the bus until he finally catches it, it was kind of like "now what"?
I'll never take the PA to a gig, it would be like parking a Bentley amongst the beaters in a VFW parking lot. The thing is, it's perfect. I wish the prior owner had at least put a little buckle rash on it, or SOMETHING! This makes me a little squeemish about playing it, if that makes any sense. Even at church, I can picture a kid or even an adult stumbling into it on stage and knocking it over. Maybe that would actually be a relief, getting the first "ding" in my Dingwall!
Anyway, thanks for putting up with my flip flopping and mindless ramblings.
